I’ve been on a productivity kick trying to get more done with my day and it’s funny that one of my biggest factors in having a productive day is breakfast.
If I have a bowl of cereal in the morning I tend to have a rotten day, I feel lethargic, I can’t focus as well, and generally I don’t get a lot done.
But if I have a big protein smoothie I get off to a flying start and have a good base to sustain me for the day. But every morning I come downstairs and want the cereal, it’s tastier and I prefer it, even though relatively speaking it’s not good for me, strange.
Tim Ferris always said win the morning and win the day, well this is one of the biggest wins for me, a big ol’ protein-filled breakfast and I can kick ass.
