Another thought I’ve had better articulated by Jordan Peterson, It’s better to have a goal even though you might not reach it. Because by having a goal and moving with direction you’re much more likely to hit it than if you were moving randomly.
Which makes perfect sense right? It’s better to move towards something than move around hoping you end up somewhere. So formulate the goal, decide what you’re moving towards, decide why you’re moving towards it and then decide what you can do next to get a fraction closer.
