It’s funny how much life can improve when you take away a small inconvenience. My wife and I used to hang our coats in the banister of the stairs and recently got a coat rack, now we don’t have to search for our coats and can just grab them. An easy win and a little bit more happiness achieved.
Now if we were to get a better coat rack, a more expensive one that looked better, do you think we’d be happier still? Maybe fractionally, but I think the win from removing the negative is much bigger than the win from improving what’s already good.
