The hardest part of starting a business isn’t trying to get clients, or sorting out a website, or sourcing your products.
No, the hardest part is not knowing if you’ll succeed.
Not knowing if it will really work and battling through that self-doubt, putting in the emotional labour and putting yourself on the line by saying “this might not work, but I’m willing to try”.
I think that causes the greatest struggle and it’s where all other problems stem from. There’s a good chance that if you don’t have any clients yet it’s because you haven’t really looked properly, you’ve only done it half-heartedly so that you don’t have to face the chance that you might fail.
Just keep reminding yourself you are the type of person who is willing to try even though you might fail, and that’s ok.
