A common fear of people with dreams of online business.
What if I don’t make any money.
Does that mean you’ve wasted your time?
There is far more to be gained from starting your project than money in the early days.
When I decided to start trying to make money online it took me a whole year before I’d made £100 and that wasn’t profit, I was in about £180 by that point, it was a full 15 months before I started actually making profit.
But during that time a shift was happening, sure I was learning skills, content writing, SEO, social media marketing, graphic design. But more importantly, I was learning how to take charge.
I was learning to self motivate, to set goals and meet them, I was learning to forgive myself when things went wrong, I was learning that when the money didn’t come straight away it was OK, I was moving forwards and learning everyday knowing that eventually it would happen. And these are the things you only learn once you start.
It took me 15 months to turn a profit, then 6 months later I was earning enough to leave my job.
Everyone starts not knowing if it will work. Not knowing if they’re wasting their time. But I’m telling you, you’re not. And the only way you’ll see that is by jumping in and starting.
